Solyman the Great Turk had laid Siege to Sigeth, a strong but small Town in Hungary, before it could be reduced he died, but yet his Army afterwards took the place. He left * 1.2 his Son Selymus the Second his Heir.

Margaret Dutchess of Parma, the Catholick King's Sister, Govern'd the Low Coun∣tries for him, the Hereticks contemned her because she was a Woman, and consequent∣ly * 1.3 those Provinces began to Mutiny. Many extraordinary Insolencies were commit∣ted in several Places, but most they raged against the Images of Saints that were in the Churches.

The Queen of Scotland flying the Rebellion of her Subjects at Home, was forc'd into * 1.4 England, where, upon false Informations contrary to all Human and Divine Laws, she was cast into Prison.
