Pope Paul the V. died the 28th of January. Cardinal Luis of Bolonia succeeded him, * 1.1 and took the Name of Gregory the XV. On the 15th. of March following died Philip the III. King of Spain at Madrid, at the Age of 43, and having Reign'd 22 Years and a half. His Body was buried in the Royal Monastery of S. Laurence of the Escuriall. His Son Philip the IV. succeeded him, being then 16 Years of Age.
