Enema forte in Epilepsia & Suffocationibus, or a strong Clyster in the Epilepsie and Suffocations.

Take seeds of Carthamus an ounce, the best Agarick half an ounce, pulp of Coloquintida three drams, lesser Centaury, Lavender, Marjoram, Hyssop, Betony and Rue, of each two drams; true Castor, flowers of the Lily of the valley and Rosemary, of each a dram and a half. Boil these, and take of the strained Decoction a pound, Oyl of Chamomil three ounces, Honey of Roses two oun∣ces, Cream of Tartar and Sal Gem, of each a dram. Mix them for a Clyster.
