AXIOME XXI.

So far as this continued Reaction reaches, so far reaches Sense or Perception, and no farther.

3. THis Axiome is to be understood as well of Duration of time, as Exten∣sion of the Subject, viz. That Sense and Perception spread no further in Matter then Reaction does, nor remain any longer then this Reaction remains. Which Truth is fully evident out of the foregoing Axiome.
