Here it is apparent that Amaziah reigned three years before his fathers death, and the reason was because of his fathers sore diseasedness, which made him unable to manage the Kingdom, 2 Chron. 24. 25. Jehoash also reigned three years before his fathers death, for he grew valiant and victorious against the Syrians, and thereupon he is made Viceroy in his fathers life time.
