BEtwixt the thirteenth and fourteenth Verses of this Chapter cometh in the seventh Psalm, made by David upon these words of Shimei, and sung by him even in this extremity: He calleth him Cush by way of derision, as al∣luding to Kish the father of Sauls family [for Shimei was of the Family of Saul] but turning it into Cush upon Shimei an accursed name, Gen. 10. and a Black-moor Nation, and of such a colour were Shimeis conditions.
