A Warrant for apprehending a Wo∣man on suspicion of having mur∣thered her Bastard-Child.
To the Constable, &c.
K. ss. WHereas I am informed that A. B. hath had a Child lately born alive of her Body, and is suspected to have murthered or made away the said Child, since the birth thereof: These are therefore (in His Majestie's name) to charge and com∣mand you, that immediately upon sight hereof you do apprehend and bring the body of the said A. B. before me or some other Justice of the Peace of the said County to answer to all such matters and things as on the behalf of His Majesty shall be objected against her touch∣ing the premisses. Likewise you are to make diligent search, by all lawfull means, to find out the truth of the premisses, and to bring before me or some other Justice of the Peace of the said County, all such persons as can give any information on the behalf of His Majesty
