A Warrant to the Overseers of the Poor to pay Arrears, and continue weekly Relief to Poor persons.

To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor for the Parish of A. and to every of them.

K. ss. WHereas complaint hath been made unto me by A. B. of your said Town, That you I. S. and K. S. the now Overseers for the Poor of your said Parish formerly paid unto the said A. B. the

summe of 1 s. 6 d. per weeek, for and towards the maintenance of herself and Children, and that you do now suspend the payment thereof, whereby the said A. B. is utterly disabled to provide for herself and Children. These are therefore (in His Majestie's name) to charge and command you the said Overseers that pre∣sently upon sight hereof, you, or some, pay unto the said A. B. all such Arrears as are accrued since your forbearing the payment of it, and that you continue to her the former allowance of 1 s. 6 d. unto her for the future, or forthwith to shew cause why you refuse to make the same. And hereof, &c.
