Pouder of Jessimines

To make this, mix about a thousand sprigs and flowers of Jessimine, amongst twenty pound of fine Starch, in a close Box, lay them even, making a Bed of Flowers, and a Bed of Pouder, and let them lye twenty four hours without touching, then shift the Flowers, and put fresh ones the same quantity for three days, and the Pouder will be well scented.
