of water, dissolving the Al∣lom therein over a gentle fire, then put in the Silk, and let it continue there about four hours, then take Lake and Indico, each a quarter of a pound, a quart of Urine, then adding a little handful of Cochineel, heat them up into a Dye, and dip your Silks or fine Stuffs into it as usual.
