Jun. the New, is binding still; but the wearing of short haire is commanded in the Old Testament, and is so farre from being forbidden, that it is confirmed by the New, as appeares fully. 1 Cor. 11. 14. 15, 16. Doth not even Nature it selfe teach ou, that if a man hath long haire, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long haire, it is a praise unto her; for her haire is given her for a covering. But if any man list to be contentious, we have no such custome, neither the Churches of God.This is a Pregnant Text, full of con∣vincing Arguments to all those that are willing to be ruled by the word, and prefer not their lusts before Gods Law.
