Three Young conceited wits sitting in a Tavern very merry, it chanced that a grave old Gentleman with a Gray-beard looked into the Room, whom as soon as they espied, to show their Wit, one salu∣ted him with the name of Father Abra∣ham, the other with Isaac, and the third with Jacob. I am (said the Gentleman) neither Father Abraham, Isaac, nor Jacob, but Saul the Son of Kish, who went out to seek his Fathers Asses, and here I find them, and here I leave them.
