X. Case. What quantity of Bread, and Wine must be taken by him, that Receiveth?

Solution.
SO much of each, as may give both nourishing, and cheering to the body. And therefore that custome taken up by the younger sort, of only kissing the Cup, or taking but a drop, or two of Wine into their mouths, is not to be approved; for Christs Ordinance is not to sip, but to * drinke at the Communion.
