of the kingdome & the liberty of the Subject; I should certainly have made a particular defence for my self, for by that at least I might have deferred an ugly Sentence, which I expect to passe upon me. Therefore undoubtedly; Sir, as a man that hath some understand∣ing, some knowledge of the world if that my true zeal to my Coun∣try, had not over born the care of my own preservation, I should have gone another way to work then now I have done.
