Ʋpon the Commons demand of Justice from the Lords to be done against Dr. Manwaring, their Lordships did a∣ward;

1. THat Dr. Manwaring, Doctor in Divinity, * 1.1 shall be imprisoned during the pleasure of the House.

2. That he be fined One thousand pounds to the King.

3. That he shall make such submission and acknow∣ledgment of his offences, as shall be set down by a Com∣mittee in writing, both at the Barr, and in the House of Commons.

4. That he shall be suspended for the term of Three years, from the exercise of the Ministery, and in the mean time a sufficient preaching Minister shall be pro∣vided out of his Livings to serve the Cure: This Sus∣pension and Provision to be done by the Ecclesiastical Ju∣risdiction.

5. That he shall be hereafter disabled to have any Ecclesiastical Dignity, or Secular Office.

6. That he shall be for ever disabled to preach at the Court hereafter.

7. That his said Book is worthy to be burnt, and that for the better effecting of this, his Majesty may be moved to grant a Proclamation to call in the said Books, that they may be all burnt accordingly in Lon∣don, and both the Ʋniversities, and for the inhibiting the printing thereof, upon a great Penalty.
