That such Writs had been usually granted by former Deputies to Bishops in Ireland; neverthe∣less, being not fully satisfied with the conveni∣ence thereof, he was sparing in granting of them, until being informed that divers in the Diocess of Down were somewhat refractory, he granted Warrants to that Bishop, and hearing of some disorders in the execution, he called them in a∣gain.
