Quia de avisa∣mento Consilij nostri, pro quibusdam arduis & urgentibus negotiis, nos & statum & defensionem Regni nostri Angliae, ac Ecclesiae An∣glicanae contingentibus, quoddam Parliamentum nostrum apud Westm’ die Lunae in Octabis S. Michaelis proximò futuro, teneri ordinavimus; & ibidem vobiscum, ac cum caeteris Praelatis, Magnatibus, & Pro∣ceribus dicti Regni nostri Angliae Colloquium habere, &c. (verbatim ut in primâ Summonitione Anni quinti usque ad finem). Teste Rege apud Wodestok ix. die Augusti.

REX charissimo Avunculo suo Johanni Regi Castellae & Legionis, Duci Lancastriae, Salutem. Quia de avisamento Consilij nostri, &c. ut supra, usque ibi teneri ordinavimus; Et tunc sic, & ibidem vo∣biscum ac cum Praelatis & caeteris Magnatibus, & Proceribus dicti Regni nostri Colloquium habere & Tractatum; vobis in fide & lige∣anciâ, quibus nobis tenemini, firmiter injungendo mandamus; quòd, consideratis dictorum negotiorum arduitate, & periculis iminentibus, cessante quâcunque excusatione, dictis die & loco personaliter inter∣sitis nobiscum, ac cum Praelatis, Magnatibus & Proceribus praedictis, super negotiis praedictis tractaturi, vestrumque Consilium impensuri: Et hoc, sicut nos & honorem nostrum, ac salvationem Regni nostri praedicti, ac Ecclesiae Sanctae, expeditionémque dictorum negotiorum diligitis, nullatenus omittatis; ne (quod absit) per vestri absentiam; quam, nisi tantâ infirmitate tunc detenti fueritis, quòd aliqualiter il∣luc laborare non poteritis, nullo modo excusatam habere volumus istà vice, expeditio negotiorum nostrorum praedictorum retardetur seu ali∣qualiter differatur.
