Quia super quibusdam negotiis nos in istâ recenti susceptione regimine Regni nostri; tam videlicet super humatione Corporis celebris memoriae Domini Edwardi, quondam Regis Angliae, Progenitoris nostri, (cujus Animae propitietur Deus) quàm super solemnitate nostrorum sponsalium, & Coronationis nostrae (Autore Domino) celebrandis; aliisque arduis negotiis statum ejusdem Regni contingentibus, vobiscum & cum caeteris Praelatis, & Magnati∣bus de eodem Regno, habere volumus Colloquium speciale & Tracta∣tum: vobis mandamus in fide & dilectione, quibus nobis tenemini, firmiter injungentes; quòd in Quindenâ Sancti Michaelis proximò futu∣râ, omnibus aliis praetermissis, apud Northampton, personaliter intersi∣tis, nobiscum, & cum aliis Praelatis & Magnatibus ejusdem Regni i∣bidem super dictis negotiis tractaturi, vestrúmque Consilium & auxi∣lium impensuri; Praemunientes Decanum & Capitulum Ecclesiae vestrae, Archidiaconum totúmque Clerum vestrae Dioc’ quòd iidem Decanus & Archidiaconus, in propriis personis suis; & dictum Capitulum per unum, idémque Clerus per duos Procuratores idoneos, plenam & suf∣ficientem potestatem ab ipsis Capitulo & Clero habentes, unà vobis∣cum intersint, modis omnibus tunc ibidem, ad faciendum & consen∣tiendum hiis, quae tunc de Communi Consilio, favente Domino, or∣dinari contigerit, super negotiis ante dictis: Et hoc nullo modo omit∣tatis.
