Quia de avisamento Consilij nostri, pro quibusdam arduis, & urgentibus negotiis, nos, statum, & defensionem Regni nostri Angliae, ac Ecclesiae Anglicanae concer∣nentibus, quoddam Parliamentum nostrum, apud Villam nostram Cantabrigiae, in die Sanctae Scolasticae; viz. decimo die Februarij proximò futuro, teneri ordinavimus; Et cum caeteris Praelatis, Magnatibus & Proceribus dicti Regni Colloquium habere & Tracta∣tum; Vobis in fide & dilectione, quibus nobis tenemini, firmiter in∣jungendo mandamus; quòd, consideratis dictorum negotiorum arduitate, & periculis iminentibus, cessante quâcunque excusatione, dictis die & loco personaliter intersitis; nobiscum ac cum caeteris Praelatis, Magnatibus, & Proceribus praedictis, super dictis negotiis Tractaturi, vestrúmque Consilium impensuri; Et hoc, sicut nos & honorem nostrum, ac salvationem & defensionem Regni, & Ecclesiae praedictorum, expeditionémque dictorum negotiorum diligitis, nul∣latenus omittatis: Praemunientes Priorem & Capitulum Ecclesiae vestrae Cantuariensis, Archidiaconos, totúmque Clerum vestrae Diocesios; quòd iidem Prior & Archidiaconi in propriis personis suis; ac dictum Capitulum per unum, idémque Clerus per duos Pro∣curatores idoneos, plenam, & sufficientem potestatem ab ipsis Capi∣tulo & Clero divisim habentes, praedictis die & loco personaliter intersint, ad consentiendum hiis, quae tunc ibidem de Communi Consilio dicti Regni nostri (divinâ favente clementiâ) contigerit ordi∣nari.
