About that time twelvemonth, there was another Session of Sewers held at
Wysebeche, viz. sexto Iulii, 8Iaco∣bi, whereIames Hawe Gentleman,Ed∣mund Gawsell Gent. and others, presen∣ted as followeth; -
Upon which Verdict ensued then and at that place these Orders made by Sir
Iohn Peyton, SirMiles Sandes, and other his Majesties Commissioners,viz. -
Upon this view, it was likewise a∣greed; that the River from
North delf toMathew Bales, andxl pole lowershould be made xxx foot wide; which was done accordingly. - Reasons confirming this opinion.

To shew that the River of
Ouse had its outfall atWisbeche, besides what is before exprest. -
That there was sometime no River be∣tween
Litleport Chaire andReb∣bech. -
That the waters of the Isle should not, nor of old did fall down from
Welle uponMarshland Eastward; nor intoWelle Fens inNorff. -
That there was a Mere in
Welle, called theWide. -
That the waters had their course from
Gnat lode towardsWelle. -
In recompense whereof they demanded these proportions in the several Fens hereafter expressed;
