THis Iohn, the next Brother in seniority to
the before-specified William Earl of Cra∣ven;
having a great esteem from the late
King Charles the First of blessed memory; was,
by Letters Patents, bearing date at Oxford 21
Martii, in the eighteenth year of his reign, ad∣vanced
to the dignity of a Baron of this Realm, by
the title of Lord Craven of Ryton in Com. Salop.
he married Elizabeth Daughter to William Spen∣ser,
but died without Issue.
