As the Structure of the Veins of this Part dif∣fer from that of others; so also the Arteries of the Brain, have a peculiar Organization at their Entrance from the ordinary Course of those of other Parts, as does somewhat appear in the fol∣lowing Figure: We have also Figured this Dispo∣sition of the Trunks of the Carotid Arteries, find∣ing them much more Tortuous, than they are here represented.
