* 1.2A reward of Supererogation is given to them that of abundant Charity do more in the Service of God than they be commanded.
* 1.3'Tis plain, that the fastings and satis∣factory deeds of one Man are available to others; yea, and that Holy Saints, or o∣ther vertuous Persons, may in measure and proportion of other Mens Necessities and Deservings, allot unto them, as well the Supererogation of their Spiritual Works, as those that abound in Worldly Goods may give Alms of their Superfluities to them which are in necessity.
