[ LXII] VVE conceive your Lordships second Paper, this day delivered to us, is a Deni∣al
of our Demands, that the Ordinance for the Calling and Sitting of the
Assembly of Divines be confirmed by Act of Parliament, and that His Majesty take the
solemn League and Covenant, and the Covenant be enjoyned to be taken, according
to the Second Proposition. Wherein if we mis-conceive your Lordships intention, we
desire you would explain the meanings, and accordingly shall make our reports to the
Parliaments of both Kingdom.
