Executions of Punishment as to Whipping and losse of Limb, &c. done in Pri∣vate, contrary to the Law of England, and of God, which orders them that are truly so (that is, Pu∣nishments) to be otherwise, that all may hear and sear; And which is like to Ju∣stice, which seeks no Cor∣ner. And the Bishops cut off the Ears of W. Prynne, Henry Burton and Dr. Bast∣wick in the Palace-yard at Westminster, and upon a Scaffold before the People, though it was done by Or∣der of the Star-Chamber.
