PSALME LXIII.

O God, thou art my God, earlie will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee,

O God, thou art my God, thou shalt be early sought by me, My soul for thee doth greatly thirst, my flesh doth long for thee,

In a dry and thirstie land where no water is:

2 To see thy power and thy glorie, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuarie.

In a most dry and thirsty land, wherein no waters be. 2 To see thy glory, power, as I in Sanctuary thee did see.

3 Because thy loving kindnesse is better then life: my lips shall praise thee.

4 Thus will I blesse thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy Name.

3 Sith better is thy love then life, my lips they shall thee praise. 4 I'le while I live thee blesse; I will my hands in thy name raise.

5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatnesse: and my mouth shall praise thee with joyfull lips:

5 My soul shall as with marrow all and fatnesse filled be:

And so my mouth with joyfull lips shall praises give to thee▪

6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night- watches.

6 When I laid down upon▪ my bed remember thee aright, And also on thee meditate in watches of the night.

7 Because thow hast been my help •…•… therefore in he shaddow of thy wings will I rejoice.

8 My soul. followeth hard after thee; thy right hand upholdeth me.

7 In shaddow of thy wings I'le joy, for help'd I was by thee, 8 My soul on thee doth follow hard thy right hand holdeth me.

9 But those that seek my soul to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

9 Who seek my soul to spill, go to earths lower parts shall they: 10 They by the sword shall fall, they shall for foxes be a prey.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

11 So shall the King in God rejoice, yea each one glory shall That by him swears: but stopt shall be the mouth of liars all.
