O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scat∣tered us, thou hast been displeased, O tu•…•… thy self to us again.

O God, thou now hast hast us off, thou hast us scattred th•…•…s: Displeased hast thou been, O turn thy self again to us.

2 Thou hast m•…•…e the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: h•…•…al the breaches thereo•…•…, for it shaketh.

3 The earth to tremble thou hast made, thou broken it did•…•… •…•…ake;

The breaches thereof do thou heal, because that it doth shake.

3 Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonish∣ment.

3 Thou shewed hast hard things unto the people that is thine; And of astonishment thou hast made us to drink the wine.

4 Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee: that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

4 Thou hast a banner giv'n to them that have the fear of thee, That it because ev'n of the trueth might •…•…o displayed be. Selah.

5 That thy beloved may be delivered, save with thy right hand, and hear me.

6 God hath spoken in his holinesse, I will rejoice: I will divide Schechem, and m•…•…te ou•…•… the valley of Succoth.

6 God in his holinesse hath said, I joyfull will abide:

I Succoths valley will met out, and Shechem will divide.

7 Gilead is mine, and Manass•…•…h is mine, Ephraim also is the strength of my head, Iudah is my law-giver.

7 Mine Gilead, mine Manasses is. and Ephraim of my head He is the strength, and Judah als my Law-giver is made.

8 Moab is my washpot, over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia triumph thou because of me.

8 Moab my washpot is, my shoe I'le out ov'r Edom cast: Philistia; because of me do thou triumph at last.

9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

9 O who is he that will me bring into the city strong? And who is he that now will me to Edom lead along?

10 Wilt not thou, O God, which hadest cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

10 O God, which haddest us cast off, wilt thou the same not do?

And thou, O God, which diddest not out with our armies go?

11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

12 Through God we shall do valiantlie: for •…•…e it is that shall tread down our enemies.

11 Help us from trouble, for the help of man is vain in all: 12 Through God we shall do valiantly our foes tread down he shall.
