O Lord God, thou seest with what miseries and dangers we are incompassed, our ghost∣ly enemies seek to do us wrong, and to oppresse our soules; give us not over unto their malice, but arme us against their pride and insolency by faith in thy word, by hope of thy mercies, and looking for thy health, and by love unto thy command∣ments,
that so in this world, and in the eternall retribution of the Saints, thou maist deal with thy servants according to thy loving mercy. Grant this for Iesus Christ his sake our Lord and only Saviour. Amen.
