HYMN 505. (4. PART.)

Argument.
Israel in Aegypt harbour'd: then oppres'd: Moses sent in: and plagues their Land infest.
[verse 23] THEN Israel into Egypt came, and Jacob's houshold there found place To sojourn in the Land of Ham, [verse 24] and there they multiply'd apace.
He made them stronger than their foes, [verse 25] and of their foes to be abhorr'd, And subtilly they dealt with those the faithfull servants of the Lord.
[verse 26] He sent his servant Moses then, and Aaron his own chosen man, [verse 27] They shew'd his signs among those men, and wonders in the Land of Ham.
[verse 28] A darkness he among them sent, and it was dark, that none could see; These were not disobedient unto the word of his decree.
