LORD hear my cry, my prayer attend, [verse 2] from Earths remotest part; Mine earnest cries to thee I send when over-whelm'd in heart,

[verse 3] Unto the rock of higher power, Lord, lead me graciously: For thou ••••st been my fort and tower. against the enemy.
[verse 4] Within thy tents I chuse to dwell, and dwelling to endure: Beneath thy wings I know right well I shall be safe and sure▪ [verse 5] The vows that did my soul engage, Lord, thou wast pleas'd to hear: Thou gavest me the heritage of them that do thee fear.
[verse 6] The life of thine anointed one, thou wilt, O Lord, maintain: As many a Generation before thee to remain. [verse 7] He shall abide before thy face, for ever to endure: Prepare thy mercy, truth, and grace, which may preserve him sure.
[verse 8] So shall I sing and utter still the praises of thy Name: That all my vows I may fulfill, and daily pay the same.
