2 Basinus vvriteth that the Duke for diuers considerations had rather haue lacked
the Kings companie then haue had it, but that the King to blinde the Duke vvith a pre∣tence of good vvill offered himselfe to go vvith him, which report all the circumstances considered seemeth vtterly repugnant to truth.
