How to know the place of the Sunne in the Leape yeare
and how to finde the leape yeare.
Proposition. 2. (Book 2)
WHen it is leape yeare, you must alwayes adde one
degree more euerie day during that yeare vnto the
place of the Sunne found by the first proposition,
which leape yeare you shall know by diuiding the
yeare of the Lord by 4. for if there be no remander
left, then that yeare is leape yeare, so shall you finde the yeare
of our Lord 1596. to be leape yeare.
