Note the ardent charitie, and contempt of worthly things in the first Christians: who did not onely giue great almes, but sold all their lands, to bestow on the Apostles, and the rest, that were in necessitie, according to Christs counsell, Matth. 16 21. Note also the great honor and cre∣dit giuen to the Apostles, in that the Christian men put all the goods, and possessions they had to their disposition.
