I haue read this Ogdoasticon following, penned (but by whom I know not) to the honour of our Antiquarie Camden, & in the praise of his Book.

Londinum Camdene tibi dedit aethera et auram, Ingenij cultum praebuit Oxonium. Historicum Occidiui, delubra monastica templa Reddunt, materies terra Britanna fuit Londinum, Oxonium, delubra, et terra Britannae Camdeni pulchro nobilitata libro. This learned reuiuer of Antiquities writ a Chorographicall Description of the most flourishing Kingdomes of England Scotland & Ireland, & the Ilands adioyning, out of the depth of Antiquitie.
