Vos autem, cùm nobis à Deo, dij da∣ti sitis,* 1.2 ab hominibus iudicari non potestis. &c. Valētinianus Imperator eùm ille rogatus esset ab Episcopis Hellesponti Bythiniae, vt inter esset consilio, respondit: Mihi quidem cùm vnus de populo sim,* 1.3 fas non est talia perserutari, verum sacerdotes quibus haec cura est, apud semetipsos congregen∣tur, vbi voluerit.
