Then Dauid saide: The arke of God ought not to be car∣ryed but of the Leuites: For them hath the Lord chosen to beare the arke of the Lorde, and to minister vnto him for euer.
And Dauid gathered all Israel toge∣ther to Hierusalem, to fetch the arke of the Lorde vnto his place which he had ordayned for it.

For, because ye were not there at the [unspec C] first, the Lorde our God made a rent a∣mong vs, for that we sought him not as the fassion ought to be.
So the priestes and the Leuites sanc∣tified them selues, to fet the arke of the Lorde God of Israel.
And the children of the Leuites bare the arke of God vpon their shoulders with staues thereon, as Moyses com∣maunded according to the worde of the Lorde.

And the Leuites appoynted Heman the sonne of Ioel, and of his brethren, Asaph the sonne of Berechia, and of the sonnes of Merari and of their brethren, Ethan the sonne of Cusaiahu.
And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zacharia, Ben, Iaziel, Semiramoth, Iehiel, Vnni, Eliab, Be∣naiahu, Maasiah, Mathathiahu, Eli∣phalehu, Mikniahu, Obed Edom, and Ieiel, porters.

Bere••hia and Elcana kept the doore of the arke.
And Sebaniahu, Iehosaphat, Natha∣nael, Amasai, Zachariahu, Banaiahu, and Eliezer the priestes did blowe with trumpettes before the arke of God: And Obed Edom and Iehia were kepers of the doore of the arke.
