PSAL. LXV.
1 A praise and thankes giuing vnto God by the faythfull, who are signified by Zion 4 For the chusing, 〈◊〉〈◊〉 and gouernance of them. 9 And 〈◊〉〈◊〉 the plentyfull blessings powred forthe vpon all the earth, but specially toward his Church.
¶ To him that excelleth. A Psalme or songe of Dauid.
1 O God,a 1.1 prayse waiteth for thee in Zión, and vnto thee shall the vowe be perfor∣med.
1 (Because thou) hearest the prayer, vnto thee shall allb 1.2 flesh come.
3 Wycked dedesc 1.3 haue preuailed agaynste me (but) thou wilt be mercifull vnto our trās gressions.
4 〈◊〉〈◊〉 (is he, whome) thou chusest and cau∣sest to come (to thee:) he shall dwell in thy courts, (and) we shall be satisfied with the pleasures of thine House, (euen) of thine ho∣lie Temple.
5 O God of our saluaciō, thou wiltd 1.4 answer vs with feareful (signes) in (thy) righteousnes, o (thou) the hope of al the ends of the earth, and of them that are farre of in thee 1.5 sea.
6 He stablisheth the moūtaines by his power: (and) is girded about with strength.
7 He appeaseth thef 1.6 noise of the seas (and) the 〈◊〉〈◊〉 of the waues thereof, and the tumultes of the people.
8 They also, that dwell in the vttermost partes (of the earth,) shalbe afrayed of thy signes: thou shalte make” 1.7 the East and the West to reioyce.
9 〈◊〉〈◊〉 visitest the earth, ād waterest it: thou* 1.8 makest it very riche: theh 1.9 Riuer of God is ful of water: thou preparest them corne: for so thou appointesti 1.10 it.
10 Thouk 1.11 waterest abundantly the forrowes thereof: thou causest (the raine) to descende into the valle is thereof: thou makest it softe with showres, (ād) blessed the bud thereof.
11 Thou crownest the yere with thy goodnes, and thy steps drop fatnes.
12 They drop (vpō) the pastures of the wilder nes: & the hils shal be cōpassed with gladnes
13 The pastures are clad with shepe: the val∣leis* 1.12 also shal be couered with corne: (there∣fore) they sho wte for ioye,i 1.13 and sing.
