CHAP. XXVI.
Iob sheweth that man can not helpe God, and proueth it by his miracles.
1 BVt Iob answered, and said,* 1.1
2 a 1.2 Whome helpest thou? him that hath no power? sauest thou the arme that hathe no strength?
3 Whome counselest thou? him that hathe no wisdome? thoub 1.3 shewest right wel as the thing is.
4 To whome doest thou declare (these) wor∣des? or whose spiritc 1.4 cometh out of thee?
5 Thed 1.5 dead thinges are formed vnder the waters and nere vnto them.
6 The graue ise 1.6 naked before him, & there is no couering forf 1.7 destruction.
7 He stretcheth out theg 1.8 North ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing.
8 He bindeth the waters in his cloudes, and the cloude is not broken vnder them.
9 He holdeth backe the face of his throne: h 1.9 and spreadeth his cloude vpon it.
10 He hathe set bondes aboute the waters, vntil thei 1.10 day and night come to an end.
11 Thek 1.11 pillers of heauen tremble & quake at his 〈◊〉〈◊〉.
12 The sea is calme by his power, and by hys vnderstāding he smiteth the pride (ther of.)
13 His Spirit hath garnished the heauēs, (&) his hād hath formed the crookedl 1.12 serpēt.
14 Lo, these are part of his wayes butm 1.13 how litle a portion heare we of him? and who can vnderstand his feareful power?
