Of dung and good earth, for your plantes and trees.

ANd when as ye woulde replant or set, ye must haue of good fatte earth or dung, well medled with a part of the same earth where as yée tooke your Plantes out of, wyth all the vpper crestes of the earth, as thick as ye can haue it: the sayde earth which ye shall put about the rootes, must not

be put to nigh the rootes, for doubt of the dung being layd to nigh, which will put the sayde rootes in a heate, but let it be well medled with the other earth, and well tempered in the holes, and the smallest and slendrest cions that turnes vp among those rootes, ye may plant therewith very well.
