THe Laurell trée is called Laurus, and is a trée of victory,and is worthy to be praised in many maner wise. For sin∣gular excellencie of grace and of vertue, sometime Conquerours were crowned, with garlands of Laurel trée, when they had the victorie. And the Gréekes call the trée Daphnis.
