A Gréene grape is called Vua imma∣tura, and is colde and drye, and full sowre, and greiueth the rootes & sinews of the teeth with colde, so that they make the teeth on edge: so that it séemeth y^t they be somewhat frosen: and haue vertue to bind and to stanch cholarike parbraking and casting, & to quench the heate of the liuer, and also thirst, and to abate sharp∣nesse of heat, and to drie thicke humours in the eyen, and in the lids: and to abate itching and smarting of eien, as Isaac saith in Dietis.
