Héerevnto serueth the example which Saint Au∣gustine
setteth downe, of Nabuchodonosor and Pha∣rao,
in these words: Quantum ad, &c. In respect
of their nature, they were both men: in respect of
their dignitie, both Kings: in respect of their cause,
both keepers of Gods people in captiuitie: in respect
of their punishment, both gentlie admonished and
warned by chastisements. What then made their en∣dings
diuerse? Forsooth this, because the one feeling
Gods hand, mourned in the remembrance of his owne
