A Cataplasme for Apostumes and Tumours.
TAke three or foure lillie roots,* 1.1 wrappe them in a Colewort leafe, and rost them upon the hot cin∣ders, then take them and beate them in a morter, and put to them a piece of fresh Butter.
Take a part of this Cataplasme hot, and spread it upon a linnen cloath, and apply it upon the Tumours if it be either pestilentiall or common.
This Cataplasme is of little price,* 1.2 but it is an excel∣lent thing against all sorts of pestilentiall and other Apostumes, changing it twice a day.* 1.3
