The toothed Violet, or after some, Dogs-tooth violet, is commonly called Dentaria: of Cordus, Co∣ralloides, of the root that is in forme like to Corall. Matthiolus placeth it inter Solidagines & Symphy∣ta, among the Consounds and Comfries. Wee had rather call them 〈◊〉〈◊〉 〈◊〉〈◊〉, of the likenesse the floures haue with Stocke-gillofloures. They may be called in English, Toothed Violets, or Corall-woorts.
