The herbe of garden Cresses is sharpe and bi∣ting the tongue; and therefore it is very hot and drie, but lesse hot whilest it is yong and tender, by reason of the waterie moisture mixed therewith, by which the sharpenesse is somewhat allaied.
The seede is much more biting then the herbe, and is hot and drie almost in the fourth degree.
