THat baptisme be not mynistered but incontinent after the sermon and onely mynistred by the mini¦sters or coadiutours: and that they doe register the names of the children wt their parents: and if their be founde Page  12 anye basterde, the iustice to be aduer∣tised therof, and therin to procede ac∣cording to reason.

Item that no straunger be receiued as godfather, but those that be faith∣full people and of ure communion, consydering that others be not meete to make promyse vnto the churche to instructe the infantes as it is re∣quyred.
