Item to maintaine and kepe peace and tranquilitie amōge the burge••es and habitantes of the towne: and to staye and let with al my power al se∣dicion, strife, fighting, or chiding.
Item to make no euell conspiracie or enterprise, but the contrarie, resis∣ting all those which doe it, and to re∣ueale them to my superiours.
Item to stope all dyssolucyons and outrages, and in generall all whiche shalbe contrarye to the order and pol∣licie of the towne.
