CI sono anche certi abusi, che hoggi di si vsano molto, & per li quali, il mondo è quasi corotto.

THere are also certaine a∣buses that now adaies are vsed much, for which the world is almost corupted

De qùelli principali, ce ne sono dodeci.

Queste sono cose che non aper∣tengono á noi, ma á Dio á rimediar ci, & al popolo á pre∣gar Dio, che ci voglij dar ri∣medio.

These be things that appertaine not vnto vs, but vnto God, to remedy it; and the people to pray God to sende some remedie for it.

Quasi in ogni regno si praticano questi abusi, senon in Inghil∣terra, perche lá, gratie á Dio siano rese, i gran stati so∣no vertuosi, sono senza que∣rele, i pastori in segnano et pre∣dicano, la Prencipessa é giusta, e sauia, la Republica é ben go∣vernata: del resto, poi ogni∣uno esamini la sua conscien∣tia.

Almost in euery Realme these abuses are practised, saue on∣ly in Englād, for there, than∣kes be geuē to God, great E∣states are vertuous, and are without quarels, Pastors doo teach and preach, the Prin∣cesse is iust and wise, the cō∣mon weale is wel ruled, for the rest, let euery one examin his owne conscience.
