Description
After serving as the Dean of the Beijing Dance Academy from 1987 to 1996, Lü Yisheng (吕艺生 b. 1937) was succeeded by Li Zhengyi (李正一), one of the creators of the first Chinese classical dance training curriculum and among the inaugural group of teachers at the Beijing Dance School in 1954. Here, we see the two visiting the United States to promote U.S.-China dance exchange.
