Description: This is a Miao-themed dance that incorporates the "hulu," or reed pipe. Jin Ou (金欧, aka 杨昌林 b. 1934), who performed in the work, is a Miao nationality dancer based at the Central Nationalities Song and Dance Ensemble in Beijing. He was renowned for his innovations on hulu instruments and hulu dance.
